LIVING ROOM

For the most visible, high-traffic space in your home, we recommend selecting durable rugs with strong fibers such as wool and jute. The right rug grounds your furniture in the space and brings a sense of warmth and comfort.

To create an intimate layout, utilize a small rug and have only the front legs of your sofa and chairs sit fully on the rug.

To create an expansive space, use a rug large enough to fit all of your furniture to sit comfortably within the rig's borders.

To unify and open space and accommodate larger pieces of furniture, utilize and oversized rug that can easily hold your pieces.

DINING ROOM

For other medium-traffic spaces in your home, we recommend selecting a generously sized rug in a durable and easy-to-clean material, like hand-knotted wool.

We recommend selecting a rug that extends a minimum of two feet on each side of your table so that chairs can easily be pulled out.

If your table has extension panels, make sure to measure your table fully extended so that you have adequate floor coverage when entertaining.

The shape of your rug doesn't need to perfectly match the shape of your table. For best results, make sure the amount of rug extending on all sides of the table is even.

BEDROOM

For your sanctuary of comfort, we recommend soft and plush textures for grounding appeal.

Place smaller rugs or runners on either side of the bed for a flexible, easy way to add style and warmth.

If the rug chosen is smaller than the bed, place the rug two-thirds of the way under the bed, starting in front of your nightstands.

When choosing a larger rug, make sure it's large enough to fit underneath the entire bed and nightstands with at least a foot of rug extending at the base.
