Returning or Exchanging Items

We hope you love your purchase but if you don't, we're happy to process a new order or issue you a refund. Returns and exchanges are free when you ship your items back or schedule your pickup*, or when you return in one of our Home stores**. You have up to 30 days from ship date to return or exchange items by mail that are purchased at Banana Republic Home. Returned or exchanged items from Banana Republic Home must be received by us within 30 days of the original ship date.

* White Glove shipping fees and Parcel fees are non-refundable. For White Glove deliveries, please request a return within 7 days of delivery. You will have a total of 30 days overall to schedule and coordinate your return pickup from the date of delivery.

**Banana Republic Home products can only be returned in Banana Republic Home stores. Home products cannot be returned to apparel-only Banana Republic locations. Also, Banana Republic apparel items cannot be returned to home-only Banana Republic locations.

What items are eligible to be returned or exchanged?

Items are in their original condition: unused and like new. Items not in this condition will not be accepted. Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged. Items which are damaged or defective may be returned or exchanged at any time. Custom / made-to-order items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Are there limitations on returning specific merchandise?

Made To Order items and Art are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Can I return my Banana Republic Home order in any Banana Republic store?

No, Banana Republic Home products can only be returned in Banana Republic Home stores. Home products cannot be returned to apparel-only Banana Republic locations.

I received my order with White Glove delivery. Can I return it in store?

No, any returns using our white glove delivery service must be initiated and scheduled for pickup via Customer Service.

I am interested in purchasing an item that is marked as "Final Sale" on the website, or I have just purchased an item that is marked as "Final Sale." What does that mean?

Final Sale items cannot be returned or exchanged by mail or in stores.
