A WORD ABOUT THREAD COUNT
Thread count is the number of threads woven into a square inch of fabric — calculated by adding together the warp and weft threads. Anything lower than 200 thread count starts to feel noticeably less soft. Thread count can be a useful indicator for cotton fabrications, but it is by no means the only factor that determines sheeting quality. Thread count is not a useful indicator for sheeting fabrications that are not 100% cotton.
