“I’m a documentary photographer whose work is rooted in a sense of adventure. I’ve traversed mountains in central Wyoming, lived with reindeer herders in Mongolia, worked as a horse wrangler in southwestern Colorado, and paddled the Rio Grande. I find deep comfort in remote and wild spaces. My hope is that my images can capture the beauty of those environments but more importantly, transmit the feeling they impart. The American West has had an immense impact on my life — it’s where I feel most like myself. I find that when I’m open to it, moments of serendipity and wonder will present themselves. I’m honored to be able to capture and share such a magical landscape through my photography.”
